Beginning in 1978, the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center's biggest effort has been the summer 4-H camping programs.  Each year, we host over 2,000 campers and volunteers for 9 weeks of summer camp fun.  Jr. 4-H Camp is a week long overnight camp from Sunday - Thursday.

Under the guidance of caring, trained, professional staff, youth between the ages of 9-19 years will laugh, grow and learn through a variety of wonderful activities.  From rifle to zip lining, canoeing to archery, we offer fun, exciting and educational hands-on activities for campers in a socially-positive environment.

Campers and teen counselors are registered and trained through their local extension office and the counties listed below are hosted throughout the summer by the Northern Virginia 4-H Center. To become involved as a camper or teen counselor please contact your local extension office.
