Lodging Facilities

Thank you for your interest in the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational and Conference Center! Situated on 229 acres of land nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, we are only minutes away from the historical town of Front Royal and 70 miles from Washington, D.C. The Center sits at the gateway to Shenandoah National Park in Warren County, a county that is rich with Civil War history, busy with community celebrations, and full of small-town camaraderie.

Our facility is open year-round and is designed for groups at affordable prices. We offer a complete line of services including lodging, meals, wireless internet, meeting rooms, audio-visual equipment, and recreational facilities. We welcome mid-week and weekend business for conferences, seminars, retreats, and workshops. Four lodges provide heated space for overnight stays and each lodge is handicapped accessible.

Congressman Kenneth J. Robinson Lodge
Named after Senator Robinson, who was instrumental in acquiring the 229 acres that is the present day 4-H Center back in 1976, Congressman Lodge is our newest hall with a total occupancy of 96 people in 24 rooms. All rooms have private baths and 4 beds (2 bunk sets) per room. Congressman has 2 lounge areas and is air-conditioned. Parking is located directly behind the building.  

William Vincent Robinson Lodge

With a capacity to sleep 104 people in 18 rooms and an entire lower level for meeting space, this lodge is especially popular among both Church and School groups. There are 6 beds per room in 16 rooms; 4 beds in the two handicapped accessible rooms. This building features private baths, a central lounge area, and a lovely view of the Center from the deck.


Rector Lodge
Built in 1978, this pentagonal building was originally the sleeping quarters for the first 4-H Center campers! Featuring high ceilings, a large common area, and 13 rooms, (6 beds per room in 11 rooms, 1 room with 8 beds, 1 room with 4 beds), Rector Lodge has a total capacity for 78 people. Beds are bunk style and the 4 large baths are shared.



Peters Lodge
Built in 1978, this pentagonal building origionally served as the dinning areas, administrative offices, and staff living quarters fo the first few years of 4-H camp! Featuring high ceilings, a large common area, and a secondary room for additional work space, Peters has 11 rooms (6 bunk beds per room) for a total capacity of 66 people as well as 3 large shared baths.
