FIREWORKS – THIS Saturday, 9/5, come to the 4-H Center to enjoy our rescheduled Independence Day Fireworks. Lift off should begin around 8:15. The event is free, but we will be graciously accepting cash donations at the gate (suggested $10/vehicle).
We will have an event area at the amphitheater (capacity 1000) featuring live music from The New Dominion Band beginning at 6:15 and ice cream from C&C’s for purchase. For those interested only in viewing the fireworks, we will have auxiliary parking and viewing areas. You will be asked at the gate if you are joining the event crowd or just a fireworks spectator, as there are separate designated parking areas for each.
OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS – For those traveling in from out of town or if you just don’t want to fight the traffic after the fireworks, we have Saturday night overnight accommodations available this year!
The total cost for event accommodations depends on which lodge you book, but both options INCLUDE:
- Family Admission to our pool on Saturday afternoon between 12-5,
- Saturday dinner AND Sunday breakfast served in our dining hall,
- The BEST fireworks viewing location on the lodge balcony!
Private rooms in Congressman Hall are $179 and sleep 4 among 1 top bunk and 3 bottom bunks. Some adjoining rooms are available in Congressman Hall. Private rooms in Robinson Lodge are $199 and sleep 6 among 3 top bunks and 3 bottom bunks.
All rooms have dedicated A/C units and private bathrooms/showers. No linens or toiletries are provided.
