The Northern Virginia 4-H Center will be hosting our 2019 Homeschool Day Camp on April 23-25, 2019. This camp is open to home school students ages 5-18 (as of September 30th). Join us as we spend three days exploring Virginia native wildlife with the help of special guests from the Virginia Tech Department of Entomology, Virginia Cooperative Extension, the American Chestnut Association, and 4-H Center Program Staff.

With a focus on Virginia native wildlife campers will take part in classes on camera trapping, ichthyology, entomology and dendrology. Some classes will have campers split into smaller age groups and some will be taught as a large group.

How Much?

Registration is $35/youth camper. This fee covers all three days of programming and necessary materials. We do ask that one adult (21+) per family attend at least one of the days of camp in order to help maintain safe supervision ratios. There is no charge for adult participants. Lunch and snacks are not included.
