THE CLOVER: Concessions
We serve hot sausages, cold drinks, and frozen treats at our concessions stand, all reasonably priced - everything you need to enjoy your day! While we strive to carry a mix of "healthy snacks" and "day-out-goodies", we are not able to accommodate serious food allergies. So you are welcome to bring your own snacks/ food as long there are NO GLASS CONTAINERS and NO ALCOHOL.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE POOL?
YOUR SWIMSUIT & TOWEL
Appropriate swimwear is required for entry in the water since "street clothes" hold so much more water and are a threat to any swimmer's ability and endurance. If you have wee swimmers, you will need swim diapers. An accident in the pool is a safety risk to all swimmers and means we have to shut down for a full day! There's no "P" in our "Ool"!
SHADE & CHAIRS
While the pool has added a small shade structure, and is proud to have some benches and picnic tables built as an Eagle Scout Project, you are welcome to bring your own umbrellas and chairs. Please remember that SAFETY is our priority and any thing that impedes or obstructs the lifeguard's view of the pool, or is flagrantly offensive or inappropriate we will ask you to remove. We pride ourselves on our family-friendly environment!
There are some toys that the pool uses to aid our Swim Lesson program, so if you find a toy at the pool, you should return it to the Pool Office, please! You are welcome to bring your own toys to the pool as long as:
- They do NOT impede the ability of the lifeguards to survey the pool and deck,
- They are not flagrantly offensive,
- You understand that POOL TOYS ARE NOT COAST GUARD APPROVED LIFESAVING DEVICES AND CANNOT PREVENT ACCIDENTS.
Water squirting/ shooting devices are generally discouraged, and will be confiscated if they are shot into a patron's face. Some toys can actually increase a non-swimmer's risk by turning them face down or leading them to depths in which they are not capable of standing. Non-swimmers should stay in areas of the pool where they can stand on the bottom, or within arms reach of a capable swimmer at all times, as they learn new skills.
Enter the 4-H Center along 4-H Center Drive (the main gate) and follow the road up the hill past the tennis courts. Parking is available along the road to the left or in the parking lot immediately past the pool building to the right.
