Summer Camp Staff

Seasonal hire from May 15 - August 15. Full time Sunday - Thursday. Room and board provided.

Staff members are required to teach classes in the mornings. The subject areas include Leather Craft, Challenge Course, Shooting Education, Performing Arts, Canoeing, and Climbing Wall - just to name a few. Class specific training will be provided to all staff members to help successfully lead classes. Previous experience in particular areas will be considered when making instructor assignments. During the day when classes are not in session, staff members will be responsible for daily operations of the camp, to include (but are not limited to): program planning, filling water coolers, general maintenance, helping with nightly campfires and life guarding at the pool. American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification is offered free-of-charge to those who require the certification for their class and to those who are interested but are not required to have it. All staff members are required to obtain American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED; this training is provided during training and free-of-charge.
